I’ve had the opportunity to travel a bit over the last month, enjoying the splendors of Central Indiana and Central Kentucky. I enjoyed the winding roads of Kentucky and panoramic views of the Kentucky and Ohio Rivers as well as the large valleys carved by the ancient flowing waters of the Big Blue River in Henry County, Indiana and even our own Eagle Creek here in Boone County, Indiana.
As I pondered these wonders of nature during this season of Thanksgiving, I realized we also need to appreciate the scenery in our own lives. Each day there are scenes in life for us to appreciate, from hearing the voice of a distant loved one to witnessing the first step of a young child.
Take the time to enjoy all the scenes in life.
We will be at the Farm to Fork Market at Normandy Farms this Saturday, November 9. We will be selling pastured pork and pastured poultry. Betsy’s Kitchen will not be baking for the market this week. You will have to wait until next week for those tasty gluten-free treats.
We continue to sell all of our products at the farm.
